This is the cartoon we did just to see if such an undertaking were even possible.  It came about because we were tired of sitting around and talking about the show, we wanted to do something.  The result was this simple seven minute animation.

There's a bad attempt at pretending like there's a story to it, but really our sole goal here was to introduce the characters and actually create something.  Our thoughts were that even if it never went any further than this it would still be fun to give it a try.  The whole thing--from initial scripting to finished product--took just over a month, if that's any indication of how long future episodes can and will take to produce.  There are two different versions for download, one for dialup and one for high speed connections.  Choose your poison:

Episode Trivia:

• This was the first produced Commando Pete cartoon, done over the course of a month and animated entirely by Dan Heerdt
• There are several regular characters from the series not introduced in this pilot, not because they weren't created yet, but because the idea was to keep it to just the essentials.
• Along those same lines, the script had to be edited to include Waterlog, who was created just moments before production began.
